Manufactured from strong and reliable Ash hardwood (approx. 660 kg/m³ density), this wedge measures 80 × 25 mm and is precision-cut to taper from 19 mm down to 0. Its robust nature makes it ideal for levelling, packing, and alignment across carpentry, joinery, and site installation work.
Ash is a tough, stable hardwood commonly specified in fire door joinery, making these wedges a dependable accessory for accurate frame alignment during FD30 and FD60 fire door fitting. Note: the wedges themselves are not fire-rated components.
