What timber species are available for sliding patio doors?
Sliding doors are manufactured in hardwood as standard, with Accoya available when specified. Additional species such as Sapele, Oak and Douglas Fir can also be supplied.
Can sliding patio doors be fully bespoke?
Yes. We can manufacture single sliders, multi‑panel systems, wide‑span feature doors and bespoke configurations based on drawings or architectural requirements.
What glazing options are available?
We offer double glazing, triple glazing, laminated safety glass, toughened glass, acoustic glazing and decorative or obscured glass.
Do sliding patio doors have multi‑point locking?
Yes. Multi‑point locking systems are available.
Can sliding doors be dual‑colour?
Yes. Doors can be factory‑finished in over 45,000 colours, including dual‑colour options for different internal and external finishes.
How are the doors finished?
Each door receives a preservative base coat, followed by three spray‑applied coats of microporous paint in our purpose‑built spray booth. This creates a smooth, durable and breathable finish.
What is the typical lead time?
Lead time is usually 6–8 weeks, confirmed at quotation stage depending on project size and specification.
