FD60 Door Lining – 32mm (Complete with Stops)

Manufactured by Timbermate UK Ltd under Certifire certificate CAF 10262 for use with Falcon Strebord FD60 (CF808) fire door blanks.

Our 32mm FD60 door lining with planted stops is manufactured to the frame requirements of the Falcon Strebord FD60 door blank certificate. It is designed to form part of a complete FD60 fire door assembly in commercial and residential buildings. Each lining is precision machined from dense hardwood for accurate fitting and a clean, professional finish.

Linings are made to suit standard UK door sizes and are available in a range of lining depths (minimum 70mm) to suit stud and masonry walls, in Sapele or Oak for painted or clear finished joinery.

Specification

  • Lining section: 32mm thick, minimum 70mm wide
  • Door stops: 12mm deep, planted (pinned or screwed)
  • Timber: hardwood, minimum 640 kg/m³ (lining and stops), excluding Ash, Beech and Iroko

Certification

These linings are manufactured by Timbermate UK Ltd, holder of Certifire certificate CAF 10262, for use with Falcon Strebord FD60 (CF808) fire door blanks. Each frame carries a Certifire label on the frame reveal showing the certificate number and a unique serial number. Timber Mouldings Direct supplies these linings on behalf of Timbermate UK and does not itself hold Certifire certification. Copies of the certificates are available on request.

Installation

  • Door to frame gaps must not exceed 4mm (3.5mm at the meeting stiles of pairs; up to 8mm at the threshold, though a smaller gap may be needed for smoke control).
  • Frame joints: butt, mortice and tenon, mitred or half lapped, with the head screw fixed to the jambs using two steel screws.
  • Intumescent seals: the seal type and position are set by the door blank certificate (on Falcon blanks the seal is fitted within the frame reveal). Contact us if you need seals supplied or fitted to suit your door.
  • Smoke seals, ironmongery and fixings must be as permitted by the door leaf manufacturer's Certifire data sheet and installation instructions.

Important Information

Fire resistance is achieved by the complete door assembly, not by the lining alone. Use this lining only with door leaves whose certification permits this frame specification. If you are using a different manufacturer's fire door, check this specification against that door's certification before installing.
