Made to Measure Floating Oak Shelves

Every oak floating shelf is manufactured to order, allowing you to create shelving that fits your space properly without the need for trimming or modification once delivered.

If you would prefer extra length for on-site cutting, simply include this within the dimensions provided when ordering.

All shelves are manufactured to a dimensional tolerance of approximately +/- 2mm.

Solid European Oak

We focus on genuine hardwoods rather than softwoods or manufactured boards such as MDF. Solid oak provides greater durability, improved load-bearing strength and a more natural finish.

All timber is professionally kiln dried to 8–12% moisture content and prepared specifically for internal use, helping minimise movement once installed.

Each shelf is carefully hand sanded to create a smooth finish while still retaining the natural grain and character of the timber.

Heavy Duty Floating Shelf Brackets Included

Each shelf is supplied pre-drilled with concealed fixing holes and includes a complete floating shelf bracket system ready for installation.

Depending on shelf length, shelves are supplied with 2–4 concealed stainless steel support rods, along with suitable wall plugs and fixings.

Suitable for installation into:

  • Brick walls
  • Stone walls
  • Breeze block walls
  • Timber stud walls

Floating shelves can also be installed onto plasterboard walls where timber studs can be securely located.

When installed correctly, each shelf can support approximately 35kg.

Untreated Oak Finish

Our solid oak floating shelves are supplied untreated as standard, allowing the natural grain and colour variation of the timber to remain visible.

We recommend applying a suitable hardwax oil or wood oil before installation to protect the surface and enhance the grain.
