What timber species are available for entrance doors?
All entrance doors are manufactured in hardwood as standard, with Accoya available when specified. Additional species such as Sapele, Oak and Douglas Fir can also be supplied.
How thick is the door leaf?
All external entrance doors are built with a 56mm thick door leaf, providing excellent strength, stability and long‑term durability.
Can you manufacture fully bespoke designs?
Yes. We can produce traditional, contemporary or completely custom entrance doors, including unique panel layouts, glazing designs and shaped or arched frames.
What glazing options are available?
We offer double glazing, triple glazing, laminated safety glass, toughened glass, acoustic glazing and decorative or obscured glass.
Encapsulated stained glass units are also available for period or feature doors.
Do your entrance doors come with multi‑point locking?
Yes. Multi‑point locking systems are available as standard, with a wide choice of premium handles, hinges and accessories.
Can the door be dual‑colour?
Yes. Doors can be finished in over 45,000 colours, including dual‑colour options for different internal and external finishes.
How are the doors finished?
Each door receives a preservative base coat, followed by three spray‑applied coats of microporous paint in our purpose‑built spray booth. This ensures a smooth, durable and breathable finish.
Are entrance doors suitable for conservation areas?
Yes. We can manufacture conservation‑grade designs and replicate traditional detailing where required. Approval depends on the specific authority.
Can you supply arched or shaped entrance doors?
Yes. We can produce arched, curved and non‑standard frame shapes to suit bespoke architectural requirements.
